This is what aged fuel can do to your machines carburettor! It’s E10 causing the problem as it starts to degrade after 21 days!

We highly recommend using Stihl MotoMix for your 2-Stoke (50-1) and Stihl Moto4Plus for 4-Stroke machinery. It is ethanol free and doesn’t degrade for 5 years.

But we understand this is the more expensive way of fuelling your equipment. So you should atleast use E5 (super unleaded). This does still degrade but over 3-4 months.

Option: You could use the Stihl fuel to winterise your kit by running it through for your last cut. Then your machinery is sat with good fuel in the carburettor during its down time
